Children's Programs

Our programs are designed to assist the child or teen ages 6-14 in any way that we can. We offer after-school programs, classes, field trips, educational and recreational playtime, as well as healthy snacks.

The Girls’ Club has a program for girls 7 to 14 that meets regularly for social skill building outside of a school setting. Our top priority is a fun experience where girls can come together to build friendships, feel free to discuss topics/interests that are important to them. Topics such as avoiding negative peer pressures, (making friends) social interest/challenges, hair, body image/weight, ethnicity, family structures/dynamics, cultural backgrounds, and more.

(RISE) “Reaching and Inspiring Success through Education” is housed at the Girls’ Club and operates an afterschool program for children. In addition to programs, the Girls’ Club offers meeting space: meeting rooms, banquet facilities and is rented to the public when available.

Lauren’s House founder and Executive Director Monique Graves will be joining the Girls’ Club family this Spring. Lauren’s House 4 Positive Change, Inc. has been providing free after-school programs to low-income and homeless children, as well as services for their families.
