About Us

The Girls’ Club of the Mid-Peninsula was founded in 1969 through a partnership between the Junior League of Palo Alto and residents of East Palo Alto and Belle Haven communities who recognized the need for a safe and enriching space for girls in the community. As the years went by boys were welcomed and included in programs and activities. For many years the Girls’ Club has provided a place for children as well as families as a meeting place for family gatherings, community groups and organizations.
